Juhla is difficult to categorize. Interior design studio, design store, art gallery, … The first step in creating a clear brand identity? To come up with a concise tagline, which we achieve with "items & interiors." And also because we enjoy a good alliteration, from time to time.
The Juhla team, which means "party" in Finnish, was ready for a fresh look when they moved to new premises. The goal was to create a space that was inspiring, aesthetically pleasing, and on-trend. These keywords emerged from the strategic workshop.
The visual brand identity is based on the letter "J," which forms a simple and strong shape that serves as the basis for the logo. This shape can morph into different forms, such as a floor plan, chair, or container for pictures. The tagline "items & interiors" is placed in a corner next to the logo to provide balance.
Passion, fire, and energy are all characteristics of Juhla, which we emphasized by choosing a bright red color for the brand identity. This color is a distinctive element that helps create a recognizable and unique brand.
The client quickly agreed that the call of red was strong, and we used it as the foundation for all brand elaborations, from brochures to signage and social media. The result is a clean and successful brand identity that accurately represents Juhla.
