Buur&Berg
In Sint-Truiden, the future of living takes shape with Buur&Berg: an urban development project where care, greenery and sustainability come together seamlessly. After our previous branding assignment for the environmental permit, Lex & Turner returned – this time to lead the commercial launch. The challenge? Unifying diverse communications into a single, memorable style, focused on sales and under time pressure. Exactly the kind of project we love to sink our teeth into.

From vision to market success
Buur&Berg is a joint vision, created alongside a strong network of (care) partners: developer Kairos, the Sint-Trudo Hospital, Integro, Wiric, Ferm Thuiszorg, and De Hummeltjes.
Whereas the initial branding focused on the care aspect, the focus now shifted to selling apartments, penthouses, co-housing units, assisted living, and even commercial spaces.
That’s why the client wanted a partner who could move fast, provide insight, and steer both strategy and execution with confidence. With Lex & Turner on board, we crafted a visually powerful, sales-driven strategy.

Brand story
The approach of dbv architects is focused on three pillars: pragmatic creativity, constructive originality and surprising clarity. These principles give rise to designs that are both functional and full of character. Buildings designed to last, to blend in, yet carry their own signature.
These values are also reflected in their tone. Friendly and approachable, yet never overly familiar. No lofty language. Just clear, confident communication.

Compelling and instantly recognisable
Every piece of communication was designed with a clear goal: to spark interest and convert it into early sales. At the same time, we brought Buur&Berg’s story to life, showing its sustainable, integrated neighbourhood concept to a broad audience.
That’s why we created an adapted branding with a focus on commercialisation, forming the visual spine for all future communications. This approach ensured coherence across all channels, yet allowed flexibility for different audiences.
What exactly did we do?
Using the new style as a base, we developed a wide range of materials – both online and offline – always with attention to content, timing, and conversion.

Branding & style guide
We reworked the existing brand into a commercially appealing identity, keeping its core values intact: “Peace in the city, space to live.”
